About Us
The Princeton Junior Tigers are a competitive Central New Jersey youth travel hockey program serving players from Princeton, Lawrenceville, Pennington, Hopewell, West Windsor, Plainsboro, and surrounding communities. PJT offers USA Hockey Tier II travel teams from 6U through 18U, with teams competing in NJYHL, DVHL, EJEPL, and MAWHA.
Princeton Junior Tigers operates under the Lawrence Princeton Nassau Hockey Association (LPNHA), which also includes the Tiger Cub developmental program and the Nassau League house hockey program.
LPNHA was established in 2021 through the merger of the Lawrence Nassau Hockey Association (LNHA) and the Princeton Youth Hockey Association (PYHA).
LNHA previously governed the Lawrence Flames, a program with roots dating back to 1965. In 2017, the Flames merged with Nassau Hockey to form the Lawrence Nassau Hockey Association.
The Princeton Youth Hockey Association, established in 1958, operated independently until the 2021 merger.
Bringing together these long-standing programs created an opportunity to offer high-level travel youth hockey for families across the central New Jersey community. Today, the traditions, mission, and values of these historic organizations continue through the Princeton Junior Tigers program and its associated leagues.
